Luigi's Pizza has been a Bleecker Street institution since 1987, when Luigi Perucci arrived from Naples with his family's wood-fired pizza recipes. Three generations later the dough is still made fresh every morning, and regulars still argue about whether the Diavola or the Margherita is the best pie in the West Village.
